Erol Alkan charts Moda / and reactions so far!
http://www.erolalkan.co.uk/?p=2365
and some comments so far, below!
A-Trak: "Moda" is one of the most unique tracks of 2009 for me. A true standout. Although I confess that I'm not even sure where the downbeat is and where the bars start, I still love playing it. Big support!
Damon Martin (Disco Bloodbath): "It's a stone cold killer!"
Erol Alkan: it's incredible, I love it'
Groove Armada: yes digging this, its exactly what you'd expect from a serge santiago vs tom neville prod. sounds super crisp, with a havey slab of euro disco-ness, and unlike much else out there right now. nice,
Joe Ransom: i like! sounds dope! will drop on the show next week
Kissy Sellout: great! In the show
Riton: this is brilliant
Rory Phillips: it's fantastic! thanks for sending..
Seth troxler: really like it, a bit big but could maybe make an edit to play.
Simian mobile disco: this is amazing (james) / It really is! More like this please!!! (Jas)
Trevor Jackson: 'Moda' is without a bloody doubt THE record I've been playing over the past year that everyone says 'what the fuck was that' a totally destructive monster of a record that never fails to ignite a crowd into spasms of riotous rapture or force deaf and dumb wallflowers to exit the building"

We Love... remixing
We Love... REMIXING
Inspired by the current collaborative atmosphere on the scene, We Love... have devised a multi-label remix competition, highlighting and supporting new production talent, and showcasing the finest tracks from their pool of friends. Including artists such as Tiefschwarz, Paul Woolford and Yousef, and labels like 2020 Vision, Buzzin' Fly and Future Classic. This is the chance for new producers to get creative with some of the tracks that will be rocking We Love... Space all summer. The best remix of each track (chosen by the artist, label and the We Love... team) will be included on the official We Love... Space 09 DJ mix, as well as being released officially by the track's label. Head to www.welove-music.com and click on 'Remix Comp' for the rules, and to download the parts.
Plus! See Ralph Lawson, Smokin' Jo and Leo Belchetz throwing their weight behind We Love... Remixing: http://vimeo.com/5544719.

okay so films dont usually play a part on here, but this is the best film I have seen in years.... if you can go see, do it... beautiful, sexy, fucked up, freaky and amazing all at once.
