VICE: The Arrival - Josh Wink

Lighting the FUSE...

"After five years of parties on the island, London clubbing institution Fuse has landed it's first official weekly residency on the White Isle at Sankeys Ibiza.   Aside from mixing an exclusive set for us, Pulse decided to dig a bit deeper into the history of the underground clubbing brand and spoke to regulars Enzo Siragusa and Seb Zito about guestlist only events, relocation to the island and the expected vibes at their weekly Wednesday night parties, running all season long."

Ibiza Opening Week Guide 2013

"The summer season is finally upon us and almost every corner of Ibiza is alive with 2013 celebrations. The opening week ahead is predictably overflowing with clubbing options, so we’ve knocked up our suggested route to navigate through the tempestuous party ocean. You will need: comfortable shoes, willing attitude and a ferocious fist pump – Ibiza will handle the rest."

Sister Bliss: Junkdog Millionaire

After a career spanning 15 years as part of world-renowned dance act Faithless - who decided to sadly call it a day in 2011 - UK DJ and producer Sister Bliss has opted against early retirement and re-launched her label, Junkdog Records. The first official artist signing on the newly invigorated imprint is British duo I Said No, who Bliss refers to as a "21st century Basement Jaxx", though as we discover, there's plenty more in store for the label in the coming months. Pulse Radio's Rowen McDermott caught up with Sister Bliss recently to chat Junkdog, Faithless, the American EDM explosion and her Ministry Of Sound Radio show.

Funkyzeit's Top 5 Bass Culture Tracks

Funkyzeit are preparing to host the likes of legendary French house man D'Julz for their next party on the 17th May in London. Fresh from their original home of Crucifix Lane and heading Red Gallery, it makes perfect sense to invite Bass Culture Records' honcho to headline this landmark event. Joined on the night by Oli Low and John Swing, Oli chooses his top 5 tracks from the legendary French imprint to get us all in the spirit...

XLR8R offer a free Arthur Russell download ahead of Circoloco celebrates Arthur Russell in Detroit:

To coincide with Detroit's fast approaching Movement Festival, Ibiza party Circoloco will be making the trek from the Spanish island out to the American Midwest to help throw a party in honor of the late disco and dance-music pioneer Arthur Russell. Taking place on Movement's opening night, May 25, the party will include sets from Carl Craig, Lee Curtiss, and others, while a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit local charitiesYouthville Detroit and the Detroit Techno Foundation. (A promo video detailing the upcoming night's performers and location can be found here.) To help spread the word, the parties involved have passed along an unreleased Russell cut, a version of Dinosaur's 1978 single "Kiss Me Again" which was originally written and produced by Russell. Here, the pioneering musician also attempts to phonetically translate the lyrics into Japanese (yes, you read that correctly), subsequently singing them himself.
