Some outstanding first names announced for I Love Techno. This year, the main event for people who love techno, electro, dubstep and related genres takes place at Ghent's Flanders Expo (Belgium) on Saturday November 12. For 16 years, I Love Techno has been one of Europe's leading indoor dance festivals. Party-goers from all possible corners of the world find their way to Ghent for one evening and one night with the best electronic music.

About the first names:

In 2009 Paul Kalkbrenner made his debut at I Love Techno, which did not pass unnoticed. Since that moment, and also because of the hit "Sky & Sand" from the album "Berlin Calling", he has developed into one of the majors. He also just released his album "Icke Wieder".

Top minimal techno driven by insane grooves and rhythms. Len Faki, also from Berlin, is another key player from the minimal techno scene and a welcome guest at legendary clubs like Berghain and Panorama Bar.

And even more from Germany, but completely different. Digitalism make eyes at the 80s on their new album "I Love You, Dude".

The Subs also gave a magical performance at Werchter. They are ready for the big breakthrough thanks to the singles "Face of the Planet" and "Don't Stop the Music".

Another festival highlight was provided by Magnetic Man, the project of dubstep pioneers Skream & Benga who succeeded in taking the genre to the public at large.

Nero, the duo Dan Stephens and Joe Ray, are ready to join the majors. In 2010 they were awarded the Beatport Music Award for Best Dubstep Artist. For "Act Like You Know" they also snatched the prize for Best Dubstep Track. Their debut "Welcome Reality" will be released on MTA this summer, the label of Chase and Status.

And especially keep an eye on youngster Flux Pavilion, who founded, together with Doctor P, the popular Circus Records and responsible for the hit "Bass Cannon". This year a number of albums will premiere at I Love Techno.

The fidget duo Crookers from Milan will present their sophomore album in Ghent.

The turntable collective Birdy Nam Nam will release "Defiant Order" in September, in a production of Para One.

And Theo Keating aka DJ Touché aka Fakeblood will bring a spectacular show for the first time.

I Love Techno always has an eye for new talent. Discovered by The Hacker, Gesaffelstein's thumping electro with minimal influences was given a shot on Turbo Recordings, Tiga's label.

Just like his Russian label team-mate Proxy, he is tipped as one of next year's major dance acts. Feed Me is one of the first signings of Deadmau5 on his label Mau5trap bringing a mix of electro and dubstep.

Mumbai Science joined the infamous Lektroluv label at the beginning of 2010.
We will end our first name round-up for I Love Techno 2011 in style.

After all, Cassius will be in da house! Philippe Zdar and Boom Bass are making a powerful comeback this year with the hit "I <3 U So".

Also present: Brodinski, one of the best DJs of his generation!
