Sun 15 June: Somewhere in BCN ft Carl Craig, Derrick May, Kenny Larkin + more @ Bloc | Buy tickets HERE

Inspired by Mad Mike Bank's legendary 'Somewhere in Detroit' record store, Carl Craig launched the 'Somewhere In...' parties with a special one off event on the Balearic island of Formentera last summer, and will be taking them to specially chosen locations around the planet. This June it's Barcelona's turn.
"For a party to be great, what matters is the purity of good music, the soundsystem that delivers it to your ears and the journey it takes you on. In the words of Funkadelic "Free your mind and your ass will follow", I want you to lose the time in your mind and do what your body wants you to - dance. Forget everything else and join my friends and I on a musical ride."

LUCA BACCHETTI

Wed 11 June: 20 Years of Ovum @ Boulevard Culture Club | Buy tickets HERE

In 2014, Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings celebrates its 20th anniversary. To honour twenty years of making you dance, the iconic imprint is embarking on a world tour taking in off-week in Barcelona. With four excellent EP releases on the label over the years, Luca Bacchetti makes a fitting addition to the line-up for 20 Years of Ovum.

The Italian musical shapeshifter is in inspiring form in 2014 having gifted the dancefloor an exquisite remix of 'Lonely Stars in Open Skies', the Maher Daniel & Jon Charnis release on All Day I Dream that became a Panorama Bar favourite earlier this year. The ENDLESS records chief continues this rich vein of form with his upcoming new 'OVO' EP which traverses dream-like techno, tinges of psychedelia and minimalist grooves, making for tracks that work just as well on the dancefloor as they do in the headphones.
