Movement - Detroit’s premier music festival - announces the full 2012 line-up for Memorial Day Weekend: May 26- 28. Lil’ Louis will headline on Saturday 26th, rap legends Public Enemy will headline on Sunday 27th (their debut Movement appearance) and Jeff Mills, AKA The Wizard, will headline on Monday 28th May. Plus some of the most exciting electronic artists right now, including, Actress, Busy P, Carl Craig, Claude VonStroke, Damian Lazarus, dOP, Heidi, Hot Natured (Jamie Jones and Lee Foss), Josh Wink, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Kyle Hall b2b Jay Daniel, Lindstrøm, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Nina Kraviz, Radio Slave, SBTRKT, Seth Troxler B2B Guy Gerber, Stacey Pullen, Todd Terje, Wolf + Lamb, Zeds Dead and many more...
“The festival line-up this year is a dynamic mix of legendary performers, Detroit icons and electronic dance music’s rising stars,” said Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau (event organisers). “We’re excited to be able to offer Movement Festival-goers 107 acts over three days, across five stages. No other festival can offer the authenticity of an underground party as well as the city that founded Techno and helped to put electronic dance music on the map.”


Hart Plaza, the festival's home on the Detroit River since the first edition in 2000, will once again be the daytime centre of the weekend. Then of course there's the diverse afterparty scene that spreads out around the city.
