Who? David August, Hamburg's prince of house music.
Why? Since debuting on Solomun's Diynamic label with the 'Instant Harmony' EP back in 2010, David August has become one of the hottest names in house music. And we're not saying that lightly. We've seen him play to rammed rooms in Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Hamburg and each performance has been electric, with rave kids straining to get close to the 22-year-old prodigy. Along with 'Instant Harmony', his two other EPs for Diynamic ('You Got To Love Me' and 'Peace Of Conscience') have become sought after by anyone with an ear for deep, driving, highly melodic 4/4. Tunes like 'Hamburg Is For Lovers' are, put simply, legendary.
