Berlin based producer Heiko Laux has been steadily releasing quality music via his Kanzelramt label for the best part of twenty years now. Here he steps away from the reigns to make his debut on Josh Wink’s Ovum imprint, working with past-time collaborator Diego Hostettler to produce this astounding techno two-tracker.

The track begins with throbbing chord stabs, and a clipped tech-house beat, and then proceeds to descend on a hypnotic trip which takes the listener well and truly down the proverbial rabbit hole. Intoxicating cosmic arpeggios scatter around like shimmering ghosts, while a pulsating bassline swells beneath the surface.

The track steps into dubbier territory on the flip, driving forward as before whilst filtering the chord stabs into a low ebb, creating an alien soundscape which leads this remarkable EP to its natural conclusion.
